Privacy without vague promises.

1. Information you choose to provide

The public site currently has no account registration, payment checkout, testimonial submission, medical-record upload, or personal-health profile. When you use the ZIP finder, you provide a five-digit ZIP code so the site can return local provider information.

The caregiver print/save feature and resource-suggestion template are intended to operate in your browser. The current resource-suggestion tool does not transmit a completed suggestion to Senior Care Compass.

2. Technical information

Like most websites, hosting, security, network, and infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. Depending on the provider and configuration, this may include IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or user-agent information, device/network information, security signals, and related server or edge logs.

Senior Care Compass does not currently use its own advertising cookies, behavioral advertising system, or user account tracking. Infrastructure providers may use technically necessary mechanisms for security, routing, abuse prevention, and service delivery under their own policies.

3. ZIP-code lookup

ZIP searches are routed through the Senior Care Compass Cloudflare Worker. The ZIP may then be included in requests to public or public-facing data services used to produce the result, including CMS Provider Data, the NPPES NPI Registry, and the ZIP-to-location service used by the site. Do not enter medical details, names, account numbers, or other sensitive information in the ZIP field.

4. How information is used

• To deliver and secure the website.
• To respond to a ZIP-based provider lookup.
• To diagnose technical problems, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability.
• To improve site usability and accessibility if aggregate operational information is reviewed.

5. Sale of personal information, advertising, and profiling

The current site does not operate a system for selling personal information, targeted advertising, or building advertising profiles about visitors. If the business model changes, this policy and any legally required choices or notices must be updated before the new practice is launched.

6. Retention

Senior Care Compass does not currently maintain a user-account or personal-health-record database. Technical logs may be retained by infrastructure/service providers according to their configurations, security needs, contracts, and policies. We do not promise a specific log-retention period unless and until one is formally configured and verified.

7. Security

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to reduce risk, but no website or network can guarantee absolute security. Visitors should not submit sensitive medical, financial, identity, or account information through fields that are not specifically designed and disclosed for that purpose.

8. Health information and HIPAA

The site does not currently ask visitors to upload or store medical records or create personal health records. Senior Care Compass does not represent that it is a HIPAA covered entity or business associate. HIPAA applies to covered entities and business associates that meet the legal definitions. If the site later begins handling identifiable health information in a role that changes its legal status, its privacy/security program and notices must be reevaluated before launch.

9. Children

The service is designed for seniors, caregivers, families, and adult helpers. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly request personal information from children through the current site.

10. External sites

Links to Medicare, CMS, SSA, VA, 211, Eldercare Locator, nonprofit organizations, and other outside resources take you to sites with their own privacy practices. Senior Care Compass does not control those sites.

11. Changes and privacy requests

This policy may change as features change. A dedicated public privacy/legal contact address will be added before the site begins accepting personal-information submissions or commercial transactions. Until then, do not send sensitive information through unrelated business channels.
